Hello a buddy of mine just gave a brand new in tank DW440 (deatschwerks 440) just wanted to know how good this pump is compared to the aux pump. I ordered a procharger for my car that should be coming in soon tuner had recommended an aux pump but since i got this for free wondering if i don’t need to get an aux pump and can just run this. Anyone have any experience with this pump?

Much better off buying the Katech dual drop in pump setup than either of those two options.

Yep, that’s it. The DSX add on aux pump is terrible IMO. You’re puncturing the tank below the fuel line and tapping a very thin wall tank that isn’t designed to be tapped. And the DW400 was no better than the LT4 in tank in my testing, so the 440 isn’t enough of a difference to justify the install.

Buy once, cry once!
