Hit tire debris so Air dam is off....
So driving down I81 today, some truck's tire blew up and left debris, I saw it too late, and couldn't avoid a decent section of it. Looks like that debris caught the rubber Air Dam in the front and pulled it off in the middle.
Is there anyway I can reinstall it myself or do I have to take it to a dealer to have them put it back on?

If you mean the rubber piece that runs from one side of the bumper to the other side under the bumper you can put it back on if it did not rip it off if so you will need to order a new one.

well its hanging down in the middle, so I guess you can't reinstall it anymore and need to order a new one?

I think he means that you should check that tabs that it attaches to. If the mounting points are gone, you might need a new one. I'd have to look at it to know.

Ok so looks like its held in by these plastic nut and bolt combinations, so I am guessing these got ripped off. There are no tabs attached to the rubber strip. Both the strip and the chin have holes for the nut and bolt to go through.
So now I hope its just a simple matter of attaching it back.

When in doubt duct tape...it can literally fix ANYTHING.
And no, I really wouldn't do it.

I just ordered those clips today. They were $3.48 for each piece from the dealer. I have had my car for a little over a month and noticed that the rubber piece was sagging on each side yesterday. I took it to the dealer today and they are trying to say I hit a curb, which I know is not true. After a heated debate, they are going to cover it. They just screw on. Good luck and sorry to hear about your car.

Sorry to hear about the debris... those screws can be had at autozone (or a decent double) way less than $3.50 each! There are some snap type fasteners for use in interior parts that will probably work. I also saw a post a while back that said that rubber air dam was like $23 to replace.....

Glad to hear it was just the rubber air dam (although it sucks to have anything bad happen)
Same thing happened to me and I ended up needing new front end (duct tape got me down to C5fest) Held on with plastic clips so you should be ok
