Awesome looking rifle.

I am putting together an SPR wanna be with my dad.

Here's the list so far.

Upper
-Mega Arms stripped forged upper
-Black Hole Weaponry 18" 5.56 1:8 with polygonal rifling
-PRC FSC 556 brake
-Bravo Company Full Auto BCG
-Troy Arms Float tube with top rail

Lower
-Double Star Arms mil spec forged (had it laying around and decided to use it)
-CMT lower parts kit ( planned on building it an M16 knock of but changed half way through. will upgrade to a better trigger later)
-Magpul PRS stock
-DPMS buffer, buffer tube and spring


Haven't decided on optics yet but I probably going to run a Leupold Mark AR in a LaRue cantilever mount.

I picked up the Scorpion and I hate putting it down. The grip is a little bit awkward but the gun is so accurate I don't care and forget after a few shots about changing my grip. I'm still waiting to take my CCW class but when I'm legal it's going to go in my gun pocket.

I played with one at the gun shop, they just OOZE with quality.... Very impressed!

Gas pressures at the port are higher with shorter barrels and can lead to issues with cycling; if you are building, bear this in mind.

SBR AR15 is beautiful, but what a pain with cycling issues! 100% agree

I'm a long way from being a 1%er, I just went through the safe and got rid of most of the useless ARs and AKs I had laying around during the last gun ban scare. The current administration helped me make enough money to buy my Barrett!
