Gen 6 - LT1, AFM and NPP

I realize that you can't get NPP exhaust with an L99 engine. Do you think the gen 6 with LT1 and automatic tranny will work with an NPP like exhaust? I think the new Automatic corvettes have an exhaust option.

Yep. I think they added an extra set of baffles to muffle the sound when in V4 mode. Should be possible in the new Camaro. The AFM doesn't have any of the negative effects in the LT1 like it does in the L99. Should be the best of everything with the next generation.

I don't think there is any downside of the L99 engine.

The LT1 have the same AFM, and like the Camaro, since guys change their exhaust, they will hate it.

Id expect the LT1 in the Camaro just with less HP. That's the normal

Will AFM be driver controlled by the selection of the the driving mode like the C7 Corvette? Apparently in Touring mode AFM is disabled. AFM is only on in Eco mode.

This is true, my buddy has a C7 and i've driven it a few times. I didn't notice the 4 cylinder mode but I also think I was staying in sport or race mode.

It does disable it though in the other modes.
