NEW SHOES

Well the Toyo tires have finally given up. I researched till i was blue in the face about what tire to run on the street. I wanted a great traction in dry weather as well as a quiet ride. The noise from the R888R was terrible... I ended up 1500 dollars later with Michelin sport 4S all around 305-30-20 on the rear and 245-40-20 for the front ;factory wheels all around. I hope that they fit. I have the Brembo brake upgrade? The 305 size is a little bigger obviously but i researched and they should fit? What does the forum have to say about the tire i selected yeah or nay? size yeah or nay? Thanks in advance for any and all feedback.

P4S is the bee's knees for street driving. But why people put 305 on the stock 9.5" wheel is beyond me.

The 305 is also a little shorter than the stock 275/35.
So the front is the same height but the rear is now shorter. Should be fine.....

Post a pic when installed

Majority of ppl would say a 10.5 inch rim for 305mm width tire minimum for most performance tires

Looking forward to your thoughts on those tires.

Which wheels do you have? I have the MRR017’s (20x10 and 20x11) and I run 285/30 on front and 305/30 on back.

I was thinking about the Hoosier R7’s.

Minority... 11" wide, 285's although 295 probably my next choice when these PS4S give up the ghost.

Nitto 555G2’s have been the best tire I’ve tried yet.

A 305 on a 9.5" rim wouldn't look good, would be hard to install, and would affect performance of the tire by bending the sidewall. I generally wouldn't go over a 285/35 on a a 9.5" rim. But opinions vary.

I'm not good with computers so i will have my wife post a pic or two but thus far i love the PS4S. Handling was great , traction is what it is and I know that i will need to get a set of slicks to get it to truly hook off the line. I do agree that i wish the wheel was wider in the rear. But by far the best thing about changing from the TOYO was the road noise. The michelin are much MUCH quieter. Hope everyone is doing well that was affected by the Hurricane. We missed a major disaster here in Destin by 25 miles.

325s don't rub in the rear?

I'm about to replace my tires for the first time and I've been looking at the PS4S as well. Summer performance is fine as I live in Florida and I may take her to the track once or twice a year so I'd like something that can grip when it needs to.

Can I assume nobody recommends the stock Goodyear Eagle F1's?
