Mountain blast with GT350 & GT4!!! PDR FOOTAGE!!!

Got it up in the mountains this morning. This car is epic! I was able to reel in the GT350 and the GT4 none of them could get away from me.

I used track mode, PTM "DRY", tour mode steering and tires at 38psi

GT350 was a 2017 with Track Package
GT4 was spec'd without carbon ceramics

Did you happen to mention to the other drivers that your car was at least $20,000 less than the GT350 and $40,000 less than the GT4? If you didn't, you are certainly better than I.

So...basically, you said f*** the break-in and went for it?

Nice to know the 1LE can give those cars all they can handle in the real world.

Mine is headed to Sebring in January.

How did the toyota pick up in the last pic do? Haha .. Good to see you are using it. My corvette buddy would rather wax his car than drive it. Keep your distance, you don't want any rock chips right away. I got a little too close to a corvettes tail and got punished with 4 rock chips.

LOL! I did mention it a time or two. They were both very cool guys and fun to carve up the mountains with.

Well I still never hit wide open throttle and no redline shifts but I still pushed it pretty hard through the turns. I have some PDR footage where the overlay was reading 1.18G's That may have been peak but it was pretty consistently exceeeded 1G without me ever feeling uncomfortable about the balance of the car. I only managed to get a little understeer on a very tight hairpin once on the whole drive and that was shortly after we cooled the cars down so I think the tires were a little on the cool side. I never noticed any oversteer but I will say this E-LSD works magic and made the car rotate AMAZINGLY WELL!!!

HAHA! We did get stuck behind a few trucks today. A few times I was getting too close to the GT350 and I would start to catch some debris. I'm working on loading a youtube video from my PDR that you can see me chasing the GT350 and the GT4 was pacing us.

Thanks for the PDR video. It looks like you are driving around Ft. Lauderdale!!!!
The only curves we have are expressway off ramps.

Looks like you kept up great imo. Once you get more seat time in your new baby that mustang will think you got bumper lock.

Whats sorely missing in this video is a lack of noise. the WOOHOOO yay babys etc etc. LOL I love this stuff I used to run bikes around twisties with friends all day few years back best way to kill a Saturday.

Car is awesome sounds great
