Contemplating a trade, need a little advice

I have a 2011 2LT, black w/iom interior and iom stripe, RS package, 24k miles, immaculate condition.

A dealership I've been talking with has a 2010 2SS/RS white with black interior, 38k miles. I'm thinking about trading with them, it would be close to even, and I'd probably get a beater to make my DD (regardless if I trade or not, I'm planning to do this).

My question is, is it a good trade if it's close to even? Mine is a year newer, 14k less miles, and the stripe and iom interior (and the GM camaro mats) were all special upgraded options. I'm thinking I'll be able to get a good deal, if so is it worth it? Been contemplating getting an SS.

What are they asking for the SS? With that many miles I would go no more than 27k.

27,9..I can get it cheaper I'm sure. This place really did try to trade for me a vert at a really decent price last year.

At least it still has some drive train warranty. Might be a good deal if you get them a little lower. See if they have any of the maintainence records for the SS. You should be able to swap out the floor mats and keep yours unless the carpet is a different color.

I mean honestly you can do that. I would just find a used 2012 SS for 30ish. Not much more and you get a bit of suspension upgrades and the leather dashes etc. Just a thought. But if you can get them down to 28 off the lot. Do it.

What do you guys think a good trade would be? Like I said, I feel like it should be close to even, no more than $1500 given the cirucmstances.

If you can get it for 27-28k off the lot it'd be a good deal.

But have you tried looking for newer? Some of the 2012 are going for 30 and that's a two year difference.

I have looked at some of the 12's, there was an AGM 2SS/RS I liked with 17k miles, the dealership asked 38k :| I called to see if it was a typo...nope

You will lose your HUD, see if you can find a 2011 at least.

Not for a 10' with that many miles. I wouldn't do it. You can find a newer one probably a 12' for close to the same money. Keep shopping is my advice.

I honestly don't think it would be a good trade. You should try and find a newer one for a slightly more.
