now i love camaros to death..but...250k...i would have rather got a lambo or something else more exotic...

Yeah i feel the same way but its for a good cause so i guess the buyer could justify it that way.

It is Rick Hendrick. He is a very very wealthy man, probably did it for charity more than anything else. It's a nice write off for him.

Yeah it was on the homepage. All the proceeds went to the YMCA of Southern Nevada. It would be cool if he would raffle the car off now though! I too would buy a ticket!

Posted several timed already. He buys all the charity Camaros. I think he gave $350K for 2010 VIN #100001 in 2009.

It's a write off... and a good cause so it's WIN-WIN. When you have that much money, you have to spend it on stuff you can write off or else Uncle Sam takes it.
