not 2nd Gen 'Maro but Firebird

other day I noticed a loss of performance in my 2nd Gen Firebird... with troubleshooting done I realized I must have a collapsed lifter... anyways.. i came across something I hadnt noticed before... or my eyes are playing tricks on me... do I see two differant types of rocker arms in use here? If I am not mistaking I see sbc 1.5 rockers mixed in with 1.5 pontiac rockers.. how I missed this during engine assembly after I got them back from the machine shop I will never know.

Well then, that is not something you see everyday. And your saying all of the sudden you just noticed a power decrease? How long has the sbc been there?

less than 3k miles on the engine. the guy doing the head work is a good friend and asures me each rocker was tagged and replaced back to the place of origin when he recieved it. which narrows it down to the previous owner who done a cam swap. how do I know a cam swap was done? when I dismantled the engine i found it had a comp cam instead of a GM forged cam. I still cant understand how me or my bud missed this,, but I have a feeling the sbc rocker has had something to do with the early demise of the lifter.

I dont think the rocker has anything to do with the lifter failing
