They are working on it now...

I took the car to the dealer this morning (5/8). I told them about the vibration issues. They looked at it for about an hour and they told me they were going to replace the torque converter. I was pleasantly surprised and very pleased that they went right to the TC.

They said it will be 2-3 days depending on parts availability. Now I'm driving a Chevy Cruze courtesy car, trying not to get recognized!

Got the car back today (5/10). Torque converter has been replaced. Seems to be running fine. Hopefully I don't chew through this one in another 10,000 miles.

Went today to get mine looked at. Went to Days Chevrolet in Acworth GA. Great place.
The service director and I took it for a drive. Getting a new converter.

Add me to the list. 2017 50th here. I had the differential groan issue too and that was resolved by doing a fluid change. This issue started a couple months ago and I've got 15k miles on the car now. Rumble strip feeling in the 1 to 1.5k rpm range and also on the interstate in cruise control though I haven't taken a trip in a while, I just remember that being an issue. I'll be taking the car in soon.

The GM service tech said the check engine light would have illuminated. I had no light and still have the torque converter issues. They are still going to replace the converter.

At just under 6k miles I brought mine in for a converter shudder from 50-60. After taking the car in and going for a ride with their trans tech he confirmed that's what it was and that they would replace the converter. Well after two days at the dealer they called and said GM advised them to replace the whole trans.
Well now for the past few weeks it's been shuddering again from 50-60 and the other night doing it in all gears and I am now at 12,700 miles. So I brought the car back yesterday and they said there is a service bulletin from GM and they have to try draining and filling the trans 4 different times, and drive after each time to see if that fixes the issue first pretty much what the OP had stated only I believe he said 3 times. I think this is a waste of time, it is even worse than it was the first time when they replaced the whole trans. Something is wrong if every six thousand miles they have to replace the trans.
Not to mention in January the car was in getting all four wheels replaced due to white spots on them and a diff service.

This is what they did to mine (drained fluid) and for the time it is working fine. But I don't drive my Camaro much anymore so whose to say the day after my warranty expires, it starts again.

Yea mine gets driven every day and we put about 10k miles and we have had it a year as of last Friday. I hope they get it figured out as it is frustrating to have to keep taking it back, I'm just glad I haven't done anything yet to void the warranty

Well they just called me to say they did the flush and they still feel it a little
Bit but that I need to put 200 miles on it to see if it fixes it. I said that's fine but if I feel it slightly it's coming back.

The Trax is a POS, I drove the Buick Encore, which is basicLly the same thing, tiny as hell and the engine is horrible in that vehicle...

Gald you are getting your car fixed though.

"Glad you are getting your car fixed though".

Thanks. I already miss my Camaro. This Trax is like driving in a big bubble. I like the bunker feel the Camaro has. LOVE IT.
