So sorry you are disappointed... They suck?
I don't need to justify anything - I like them better than the old style.

It's the squarish, cavern for the license plate, where two unlike materials come together in an awkward way that I can't see ever growing on me. Nothing short of a new bumper can resolve that.
I never really noticed this until you pointed it out. It's like the C7, with that huge black panel on the back. Feels like a cost cutting measure, and I don't like it. GM seems to do this as a model ages, cheaper wheels and trim as they prepare for a new model.

I do like the taillights, but I like the ones on my '12 too. However, If I decide to buy a 1LE, it's not going to be a deal breaker or anything.

Nice, looks so much better then with all the black in back. Chevy should have done this in the factory as it looks great.

I have the BigWormGraphix rear smoke covers, but haven't installed yet.
Have heard someone state it was easier to remove the lights from the car to install. This would mean taking the rear bumper off to do this. I just haven't got around to it yet.
Hoping BigWorm would do an install video with the new 2014 RS tails, like to see if they have better luck with it.

I like them. I like the ones on my '10, also, but they look a lot like the tail lights from a '64 Dodge Polara, which were lifted from the '63 full size Chevy.
