Warranty

Just installed some solo high flow cats and just wondering if it will pass emissions the only reason the cel light is one because 02 sensor was bad have to get a new one.. and did it void the warranty

If its anything like up here in Marylandistan they won't even hook it up if it has any CEL's on. I can't see it passing if they hook it to the car and it shows an O2 sensor fault. To be on the safe side I'd fix the sensor before going to get tested.

agreed, fix the sensor before someone is inspecting it.

It will void the warranty on your cat-back exhaust system, but that is all.

K thanks guys going to fix the o2 sensor today it's just that one of them came cross threaded really bad and was hard to put it in got it alittle and then it fell out will driving

Best to remove the O2's when the exhaust is hot & install them when it's cold with a little anti-seize on the threads only. You may have galled the threads in the bung if you couldn't get it in all the way.

I have solo high flow cats and had my resonators replaced under a TSB so they didn't void my warranty.
