It’s interesting how many 1LE owners switched from a Corvette. I did too (a C6 with Z51), but owned a GT 350 (ugh) and an M2 (boring) in between. I just decided this time to go for the best performance per dollar vehicle I could find, and with all of the incentives available pushing the price under $40K, the 1LE was a $20k better deal than the ‘19 C7 GS I wanted. So, the 1LE was a no-brainer.

The magnetic ride for the 1LE is just fine around town and on the lousy streets here that are paved with potholes, and there are a lot of options for setting the suspension, steering, exhaust, etc., to your liking - plus, the car is just fun!

Corvette C7's are much better in all aspects compared to the prior C6 models.

Well, two months old, 3000 miles.
First oil change with magnetic drain plug at 979 miles with ZL1addons lift pucks and rock guards installed.
Diff fluid done at 2300 miles and my Elite Engineering catch can installed roadkill style.
Quickjack scheduled for delivery Friday just in time for my second oil change and to address the "card in the spokes" sound from the right front.


.....and still on the temp tags, well the second temp tag. Dealer had to send another one as they don't have my transfer registration back yet.

Six months and 8,078 miles today. Did another oil change using the Quickjack.
This oil change I went with Valvoline 5w40 rather than Mobil1 5w30.
Tires look to have about 5/32 left, I'll have to measure later.

Behind in mileage due to the rain almost every weekend. Wash the car and next time to take it out and it rains again.

Black paint sucks.
Only clean for a few hours after washing, one drive and covered bumper to bumper in dust and dirt. Any rain and it looks like I took it off road.
