Well I finally got around to replacing all of my steel pipes with aluminum pipes. So far my impression is it is a worth while change. In the few pulls that I have made with the aluminum pipes IATs seem to be down over the entire range. But only slightly, maybe 5* on average. The most significant change so far is how fast the temps rebound. After a pull 60-140MPH IATs can get to 80-90* but within a 1/2 mile of driving at 60 MPH the temps are down nearly 10*. Also the steel pipes weigh a TON!
