New member Converible M6 questions

New to the site and the information here is great! Looking to order a convertible with M6 transmission. Talked to my small dealer and they seem to be clueless on the allocation topic. Is there a site or any information on how to find out what dealers have allocation for the convertible so I can get one ordered? Selling my CTS-V sedan and can't wait to get into one of these cars!

If they go into GM Workbench and start building the order... I believe it has something in there that lets them know if they can place the order / have allocation.

If all else fails, encourage the sales manager to contact his/her regional GM rep with a very specific question of allocation. It's not black magic, they just need to be willing to ask the questions and learn for you.

In short - welcome to the site!!! And no, there's no public database that I know of, detailing allocations on a dealer-by-dealer level...it's an internal situation between GM and the dealers.

Thanks for the answers. Are the Verts in M6 going to be hard to get your hands on?

2017 builds seem to be slow to roll out. And since everyone who wants one is still eagerly waiting to get their orders in for a convertible and automatic models...they will be (initially) a little hard to come by.

Not all dealers will even have an allocation, mind you...You'll want to find out if your dealer has gotten any ZL1s at all, yet (you mentioned they were small)...to give you an indication if they're getting any convertibles...

She will return your call shortly, if not tomorrow, I'm sure of it. She's simply....awesome; and a wonderful friend.

Welcome to the site! Hope you enjoy your stay!

I sure haven't seen any except for press preproduction cars. Seems like most are excited about the coupe version so my guess is a vertible will be gettable.
