Satellite Antenna Swap

Just swapped out my original hyper blue satellite antenna for a black one.... Love it and installing it took less than 15min. I had to buy a new one because my garage decided to spaze out and close on its own as I was backing into the garage one day. So the tip of the original antenna got dinged up a bit.

Could I have just sucked it up and put touch up paint on it, sure. But I'm anal about things, lol

I wish the aftermarket companies could come out with different designs. Especially a smaller version!

I was thinking the same... if it only takes 15 minutes ... how about a quick walk through on how to switch them out? By the way looks great...

We want what we do not have. Mine being a non-RS LT came with a black one (albeit not painted black) and I wanted HBM to match my car. I would like to see how you did it in 15 minutes because while I was exploring with the dealer the idea of pulling and painting mine before delivery, I understood from the body shop it was a fairly big deal process involving in part dropping the headliner.

Fail!

Swapped out antenna cover being anal, but placed a spray bottle on the rear quarter. Kind of like getting upset about the first road chip in the front bumper and showing a picture of someone leaned on the car in jeans. haha
