A little bit frustrated...
So I went to grab lunch earlier and while I was in the restaurant, I noticed some teenagers leaning on my car with their backpacks and hands rubbing all over my fresh paint (got the car 5 days ago). I went outside to make sure everything was ok and noticed a scratch , which was most probably there because of one of the zippers on the backpacks. Was I in the wrong for going outside and pretty much yelling at them telling them to get away from the car? They seemed to be having a good time smiling and taking snapchats of the car, but I just got the car and didn't want it to get messed up already. I felt bad for yelling, but I felt like it had to be done to prevent any further damage that might have happened. What would you guys have done in this situation?

I did the same thing at a car show years ago. Some jackass decided to make my car his resting spot. I was a prick. People have no respect for others anymore. Being nice isn't going to change their behavior.

When I went to DC in a business trip the Hotel valet decided to park it in the entrance of the lobby during my whole stay as display. I felt proud of my car....later I went outside and there was a bus load of tourists taking pics with my car! I had a "mini" heart attack, the valet employee said they were all Transformers (movie) fans.. so I decided to quietly watch...but if anyone leaned on my car or touched it, I wouldve reacted the same way you did. You worked hard for your car is nice seeing other people enjoy it but everyone has their limits.

Agreed. I've yelled at my son for sitting on the car. He now understands how easily you can scratch the paint.

Glad I'm not the only one who would be frustrated with something like this. I honestly wonder why people think its ok to touch other people's cars or sit on bikes. I'll never understand people...

Oh; come on; it's just a car... No big deal; it happens everyday.. Be reasonable........................................ .................................................. .................................................. .................. I just wanted to see how pissed off I could get the readers before they realized that my post was a joke.
I would have run out and made an ass out of myself.

If they were teens, and seemed to be having a positive time together, they may not have known any better. I think I would have asked them to please not lean on my car because I didn't want my paint scratched. If that didn't work then I probably would have gone your route. One thing you don't want is a pissed off teen thinking "I'll show him"
