What I don't Like About the Gen 6 Camaro

The fuel door on these things are about as cheap and flimsy plastic crap as you can get. I have to push mine like 4-5 times just to get it to pop open. I don't feel very confident that it will last all that long.

The transition from v4 to v8 is occasionally kind of harsh under specific conditions.

The split in the seat hits me right in the tail bone and drives me nuts.

When in manual mode, the delay from the time I shift until the actual shift takes place feels like an eternity. I feel it's way to slow.

That's all.

Fit and finish is far from awesome, clearly see they made some manufacturing details in a hurry and in a don't give a **** way, but overall very nice vehicle.

Man if you think the v4 to v8 transition is rough you would hate how my Ram feels. I cant even tell on my Camaro but my Ram rides rough when forced to push me around with only 4 cylinders

I totally disagree! The Camaro is not perfect, but complaining about the fuel filler door being cheap, come on. The split in the seat, the shifting from 4-8 cylinders. How about the brake dust or the crumbs on the floor? I can't understand this thread, but I must defend the Camaro. Did you ever test drive the car? Any of you? Are you having buyers remorse? Deal with it or trade it for something else. Go to another forum and bad-mouth their brand!

The fuel door? It's a fuel door. You push it, it opens. Not a lot of wear and tear. OMGoodness

I personally wish there was a real E-brake.

Fixed side view mirrors. I worry some dingbat is going to walk right into them (including myself) not paying attention.

You might want to have that looked at, mine works every time, exact same as my gen5, worked every time for 3 years
