Off Topic,

I'm in Rochester Hills and haven't seen anyone from the area on here so far!! I see a lot of 6th gens around so I know they are here somewhere...

But yes. Some people I know wouldn't be able to handle this car

I'm one of those.....I've learned my lesson, certainly can afford to buy the SS , but bought the V-6. For the simple reason that I don't use the power. This is an around town car for me, but after owning a 13 SS and a new C7 Corvette, I'm really glad I got the V6 this time. We all have different reasons…And life situations.

I am here. At least I work in Bloomfield Hills. Drive down Woodward to work everyday (yep, can watch the dream cruise out of my office).

You are right. I should have just gotten myself a lamborghini huracan instead. Not the cheap rwd one either.

Mostly because my neighbors don't have enough to talk about now with my house renovations and my new car.

So true. I watch that car show called "What is my car worth?" where they appraise cars, mostly sports cars and exotics that go up for auction at Barrett Jackson and the like.

They list the horse power and 0-60 times for these cars and I am always shocked at how much slower those cars were than what we consider to be fast today, the Camaro V6 is faster than many of them.

I've never seen anyone on the forum from around here, either. You would be the first!

I love watching old motorweek "retro" car reviews on youtube. It's funny to hear them say a car is quick when it hits 60mph in 9.5 seconds.

I just watched one recently on the 1997 Camaro SS and it put up nearly identical numbers to the V6 today. I graduated from high school in '97 and I remember that car being sooo bad ass.

Some people never miss an opportunity to inject politics into every conversation.

I know it might be hard for some to believe, but Camaros are apolitical.
