I'm hoping the evolution route isn't a bad idea on GMs part

Thank you, djpelosi - I didn't see a whole lot of difference to the 5th gen in that either.

All I know is this look like xxxx.
I completely loved the look of the first 5th gen design and car in the 1st Transformers movie. I owned 5 different Camaros. I don't know who GM's target buyer is for this car (not me). It definitely not a muscle car or something old school Camaro owners will go for. That front end is terrible. |

Do you honestly think GM would let them parade the car around like that if it was the 6th gen? They haven't revealed the car yet. The 5th gen concept was revealed a year before Transformers came out. |

Top 2 look good, but the Blue one looks too much like a Mustang. Sorry, but from the doors back that's what I see.

The problem with this - and maybe someone has noted this but I can't find it - ALL of the renderings are based on the 2010-2015 Camaro. The renderings should be based more off of the Caddy ATS - as that will be the platform that the 2016 Camaro will be sitting on. So less length between the wheels and less nose length.
Just something to think about with all of these renderings. I feel that we've seen the 2016 in the Bumblebee in TF4 - and GM is probably scrambling because most** people hate it. So, damage control. Look at the proportions of the "new" bumblebee - you'll see what I'm talking about in terms of dimensions between the wheels and the front end length. GM is making a SMALLER car. Consider that in your renderings. That being said - I do like the blue one better than the silver one. Just my feelings though. Good Job on the 'chop.

You got a link about the ATS platform? I've heard rumors of the ATS and CTS...I don't think anyone knows for certain, except GM.

The...ATS..platform. You mean the Alpha Platform? That the Cadillac ATS is currently running on? If you've seen a Cadillac ATS driving around you have seen the Alpha Platform.
Edit: FWIW - I would not be shocked if the "Camaro" in TF4 (bumblebee) is built on the Alpha platform. It looks smaller just in overall size (in the photos that have gone around the internet). But that's just what I get from the photos.

It looks like a modified 5Gen. Look at the proportions between the two.

So far (the CLOSEST i can find in terms of the angle of the shot, etc) all of the evidence suggests that you might be correct and that the TF4 Camaro is just a modded 5th gen. But I'm still checking it out. You probably are right, was just a comment I made from my point of view. I have however seen the ATS in person and it looks smaller than the 5th Gen in comparison. I have yet to see one side by side for an ACTUAL comparison (still looking that one up as well). If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. Just having a discussion, that's all
