New 2013 ZL1 #7860 IOM Coupe A6
Hello everyone,
I have been frequenting this forum for years under another user name but now the day has finally come to put a brand new Gen 5 Camaro in the garage. 2013 ZL1 Coupe #7860 Inferno Orange Metallic Automatic Exposed Carbon Fiber Hood Insert Sunroof Black ZL1 Wheels Purchased new 4 days ago in Boone, Iowa at Pat Clemons Chevrolet. Excellent buying experience and excellent price. Drove 700 miles one way to get it and bring it back to Colorado. Spent all yesterday detailing and waxing. Pictures Below. Our intention is to drag race this car and keep it in the family for us all to use. I previously had a 2006 Cobalt SS/SC with many mods and nitrous. (sold) My little sister got 2nd place at High School Drags at Bandimere 2 years ago and got beat by .02 seconds in her old, bright yellow, pony Mustang. (which is now raced proudly by my 17 year old cousin) The time has finally arrived for an upgrade and after 2 years of looking at almost everything from 60's muscle to late model performance, we decided on a new ZL1. We look forward to meeting more Colorado members and enjoying this amazing car! Quick story from yesterday: My neighbor stops by because he saw the new car in the garage and I was waxing it. He brought his friend whom I had never meet who said he had a 2014 GT500. (Cool!) We talked for a bit about both cars (ZL1 and GT500) and then I fired it up in the garage. Mr. GT500 jumped and said "WOW! That sounds great!" and then walked out as if disappointed...  Huge smile on my face all day!Last edited by 2013 ZL1 #7860; 05-06-2014 at 10:33 PM. |

Nice ZL1. I would add some rock guards directly behind the front tires also. Those 285mm goodyears tend to throw rocks at the rear quarters.
