The quietness of my engine is one of the things that bugs me about it. I took off the engine cover but that didn't help much. I'm used to being able to tell what the rpms are doing based on the sound of the car and I can't tell that with my new charger.

I have a 2012 Cadillac SRX on the way for my Wife, should arrive next week. We drove 2 of the new 2012 3.6 SRXs last week and this motor was awesome for a V6. I agree it will be tuned a lot different in the Camaro, but I can tell you it is the best V6 I have ever driven. It got to 5,000 RPMs so quickly and with amazing ease. I have really never driven a engine like this and can't really explain it yet but the best thing I can say at this point is it felt more electric than anything, it was so quiet but had almost V8 like power. I did really like it.

I don't have that problem in my 2012 Camaro with my LFX V6. I think the sound is just right, not too loud and not too quiet. It sounds much like the old Quadrajet 4 barrels that I had on my old cars.
