The 2010 was revealed in July 2008 and went into production February 2009. Unless they are about to start production, that isn't going to happen for the 6th gen.

This is definitely something to consider.

However, the 2010 was a re-introduction of a retired name plate, or a brand new platform. GM knew they couldn't just stick a Camaro badge on a restyled Malibu body and frame and call it a Camaro. The 6th Gen will not be new, but a redesign of a car that is already in production. I think the time between reveal and production will be shorter.

Just my 2 cents.

There ya go. So if that's the case when will the 5Gen be built to?

My main concern is that it can walk a mustang stock for stock so I can tell all my boys with mustangs to shove it. And look good while doing it.

They can't just put a new grill on a Holden and call it a GTO!

I think we may see a 500HP LT1 in the C6 Camaro.

Out of all the stuff revealed at Detroit, Ford definitely won.

You have to admit that the GT is an awesome car. Hard to knock the GT350R but I didn't like the wing, carbon wheels were trick but looked kind of generic.

I'd love it if they did the same thing as the 5th gen and upped the horsepower to 400 for the v6 and 500 for the v8.

they won't outdue the vette. so the SS will get 450 max. respectable, but i'd like to see a 1le version with a HP bump that can compete with the GT350.
