Seems that way. Don't get me wrong, the Volt is an important car for Chevrolet but their press conference left me underwhelmed with just the Volt and Bolt.

Totally agree... especially when Ford goes with the new GT, the Raptor, and the GT350 R. Really GM?

They're letting them reveal everything so they can blow them out of the water.

How to hug your camaro
Buy the car that you would most like to get beat in. The other guy will always be faster.

Now, the Buick Avenir is awesome and unexpected and we still have Cadillac tomorrow but Chevy was a let down.

I dont know man, I think it was a mistake by not revealing the camaro. Ford stole the whole damn show and took everyone's lunch money too.

I think perhaps the longer it takes to see the 6thGen Camaro, the better....

5th Gens model year '15 still has a ways to go before ending....No benefit to putting it on the back burner yet....and the longer we have to wait to see it, tells me it will be significantly different than the 5th gen in styling, weight, power, handling, etc....All good (better than the 5th gen)...

All features that would hurt the '15 gen5s sales unnecessarily....just my $.02...

That would be a miracle. Short of GM rolling out the Zora, Z/28 and production ZR2 in one shot, that isn't going to happen. Even then, those three would have to be awesome cars in their own right.

Ford just blew everyone else out of the water with their reveals.

Well, let's see if they can show us some more spy shots, a new track video, maybe an interior shot...

something would be nice - it's been what...2.5 or 3 months now?

GM has got some seriously stiff competition. This 5.2L FPC is superior to anything GM has to offer for a track set up, or at least it should be since we have yet to see its real world performance. BUT N/A motor with over 500 hp that revs to the moon, definitely appealing to for the track. Couple that with the post that Ford had on one of their social media sites that the GT 350R is 500 lbs less than the Mustang GT..

I really hope GM has a n/a motor to respond to the 5.2. Ford has the benefit of high rpm to make power where GM doesn't. Regulations are preventing the big cube motors GM relied on.

Maybe a 427 destroked with an LT1 crank and revved high enough can make the power without failing emissions.

This is impossible.

I just noticed the "R". Still if they can it will be very very expensive.

Call it wishful thinking, but I'm not giving up quite yet. If they don't reveal it now, the question is where and when?

Chevy's time is up for Detroit. No one knows when or where the 6th gen will be revealed. The next opportunity is Chicago in a month.
