Jay is right. We need a couple more members! This is a great way to stretch your cars legs ... legally! It doesn't matter if you have a V6 or a V8. If you want an opportunity to see what your car can do in a fun and safe atmosphere this is the place!

I would surprise more with my v6 then my Ss. The theory smoth is fast realy comes to play.

Well I guess we went the wrong way and now we are down to the Fab Four. Pretty poor showing for the CART club.

With such little interest I guess I'll have to rethink the September event.

More guys want to do this jay just sometimes life gets in the way. Please keep posting up I think in time we could end up with a nice group to race with.

It would be nice to have at least 8 of us at one of these events. I know its tough and many don't want to put that wear on the car but, I still would like to see a large showing. I'm still in for Sunday.

Ernest. Do you want to try and head up together. I gotta pass Milford to get there anyway

This... July/August is vacation prime-time, which doesn't help. I'd like to do some of these but it's hard to find time this summer.

So I agree - the lack of response probably isn't due to lack of interest.

There will always be Life events, this in fact is one I was hoping more of you would sign up for. There will always be reasons, but there is also planning to attend. I don't want to get into a big debate and upset people over this. Charlie and others, I know you've done this. It was more to try to get new people to come out of their comfort zones and see another side of their car. It's something that has to be experienced. I have a lift too, and you have to pick the events you want to try. I understand you can't do it all, but that is where planning comes in. I thought I gave this plenty of notice, I sent out PM's to every CT member and some of the other state members I know have autocrossed and the lack of interest that you are not aware of it where I am coming from.

With over 70 members just in CT alone, it's disappointing to see such little interest.

Jay, bluBlud is correct in what he said. I'm missing a bunch of the shows happening in August as I have a camp site booked for most of August. Would maybe check this out sometime in the future. Camp site fees are a lot of money and the race stuff is not figured into our budget.

Sure Beiry,

I was thinking about leaving around 6:15 so that I could get up there as close to 8 as possible. So as long as I don't hold you back or speed you up too much I'm game.

If that works for you just let me know which way you want to go (I-95 or 15) and I can be on stand by at one of the exits (like exit 39 off I-95 or exit 55 off of 15).

That works for me. Let's meet right off 39 in Milford. I think 95 is a faster route for us

Sounds like a plan. If you take exit 39A there is a Firestone at the bottom of the ramp. I'll be in that parking lot. In fact I can pass you one of my 2way radios for the drive up and we can jump back on 95.

Does 6:15 work for you or do you want to change that time a little?
