Plasti dip is a great alternative. It is cheap and easy. I literally paid 100 dollars to a friend of mine to dip my rims. It looked very professional and clean. And if you don't want the black matte rims, you can always peel it off. Win win situation.

You paid how much for a friend to dip your rims?!?!?

The rattle cans would have cost him 25-30$ with tax...no way a friend would charge you 70$ to spray rims...

Check dipyourcar.com man! You can do any of this stuff yourself in a afternoon and a few beers!

Not in my opinion. My friend had his Charger SRT8 wheels powder coated. Spent $400 bucks on them. I parked right next to him and mine looked actually better for about $30 bucks.

Check out YouTube. Key is to put on thick, even coats. Keep the can about 12" from the object while spraying. The more coats you put on the better it looks and easier to come off when you decide to remove it GL

A Camaro will almost (exceptions like a rusted out 72 with flat tires and broken windows) always look better than a Charger. I bet your friend hates to see you pull up next to him.

I had plasti dip on mine only casual I planned on getting new wheels but if you like the look of the SS wheels I'd get them powdercoated, if you're on a budget, no more than 50 a wheel.

Plasti dip no doubt

I would plasti dip. Had this on for almost two years. Just took it off to redo it. Easy and stayed on with no problem, then came off with no problem as well. Change as needed... Best of both worlds!
