I'll have to agree the V6 support is pretty terrible, but then again this car had a year on the 2.0t and so little was done with it, almost no one has posted any track times or really seemed interested in having the V6 a performance car besides GM, so what do you expect.

A 50shot only works out to about 35~40whp so, almost any engine can handle that. Most would probably aim for around a 125 kit. Depending on what kit you choose, it can be pretty much plug and play. You should discuss it with one of the kit sellers or vendors before hand, just to make sure you get the best setup. Youll typically want to retard your timing a tad depending on jet size, and run a colder set of plugs. As long as it's used safely you shouldn't have a problem.

If you really want to up the safety level, you could look at maybe sourcing a second intake manifold and have a burst disc installed on that.
