I've been noticing different stitching colors on the suede shift boots?
So between my car, a friends, two I saw at my dealer and two more I saw at a cruise night, I'm noticing the suede shift boots on SS 1LE's can have either black or light gray stitching. I've seen six since I've taken notice and two were black, four were light gray. My car, and one guys who I met are early cars (November build dates), and we have black stitching. Not sure of the other build dates, but the two at the dealer are obviously later build dates. It's looking like at some point they went from black to light gray stitching on the suede shift boots. I actually like that mine are black as it matches my new suede knee pads which also has black stitching...odd thing for them to change though?

Yep.
Noticed this back in January or February time frame that this running change was made looking at pics online/review videos, etc. Ours was built in December of 2016 and has the black stitching. We went with red stitched black leather knee pads to compliment the red in the GM 1LE floor mats we added as well. |

Yeah I just went to look at mine (12/16 date and black stitching).
Never noticed!

Dec/16 built as well, and has the black stitching on the boot
