Any word if your car is still set to start production this week, Sledge? I thought they had pushed start of production back to 10/12. How cool is it to think that your car could be in the process of being built this very moment!?

Wish we could get some kind of confirmation that builds are starting either today or this week.

If they started today... the car would moat likely come off the line tomorrow. Possibly 3 shifts for the first weeks run... who knows? Maybe Laborsmith?

My hope is to see 3800 by Friday

No third shift.

We do not know when (or if) assembly starts but the line seems to be set up so that first regular builds roll off in the morning of the first day.

Once we see VINs we can estimate backward. That is how I came up with the C7 start date of August 19.

If we can find someone to cruise past the assembly plant after a few days their report of the holding lot should give us some idea as regards if production has started. It takes a few days for enough builds to roll off that they have to be parked where they can be seen.

Somebody has to be able to spill the beans and find out sometime this week! Aren't there quite a few people that live neaby the plant on here? Maybe someone can go by and find out.

If my game wasn't starting it's Beta and my wife wasn't 5 weeks before her due date... I would road trip and camp the hell out of that lot.

If you like instant throttle response, you can get it for any variant of Camaro.

Good luck doing that!!! But I did enjoy the thought.

So, VINs will be our best clue that production has started.
