Now just to be clear I found this and did not call to follow up but thought someone here may want to. They are saying they have 4 ZL1s left under MSRP

I just emailed the SALES MANAGER, he replied and said they only have 1 left and it's selling @ MSRP. I wonder HOW much UNDER MSRP the other one's sold for? Maybe whoever bought one can post up as inquiring minds want to know

It was prob a lie and they all went at MSRP with those getting them only getting the last one...

I was there yesterday and spoke to Chake Ros, they have 1 left unclaimed and 1 that is claimed but deposit has not come thru yet.... And it is below MSRP but above invoice.

I spoke with Chake Ros last Friday, said they had 2 left at MSRP. I gave a deposit for one. Order was to be put in on Tuesday 12/20, waiting for my order number.

They were going at $1500 under MSRP with 5K down ...

Hard to believe they are already going for below sticker. My local dealer was asking for $10K above MSRP for the SS Camaros in 09

Different cars, I think. The market for a $30k car (and one that hadn't been around for almost 10 years) is much much broader than the market for a $60k one. Plus $1500 under is not like they're selling them for less than invoice.

Plus some dealers want to sell cars, others want to let them sit around on the lot. I could definitely see some dealers trying to mark the ZL1 up to the sky and others just trying turn them over. I mean, local dealers were asking $10K over sticker when I got my SS too. That's why I bought mine from Newman Chevrolet for $3000 under.

I'm sure plenty of dummies paid $50K for an SS though.

Got delivery of my 2SS from Chake Ros at Maher 11/09. Great guy, dealership treated me right. Definitely would recommend them.

The pic in the ad looks nothing like a chevrolet ZL1. They could be talking about SLP who only made 69 of them and go for way north of 100 large.

Well it used to be 12% mark-up (invoice to MSRP) on the base car and 18% on options......not sure if it still is but must be close.
