Rattling problem with subs

So i recently installed my 2 12 inch kickers in the ******** box and i got so excited but unfortunately it sounds like shit. I havent put dynamat down yet but i am defiantly going to do the whole trunk. But does it really make that much of a difference? I am wondering if i should just disconnect my back speakers to help with the rattling. Suggestions or advice would be much appreciated

Sorry if this doesn't address your issue, but if it wouldn't be too much to ask, how much did it cost you to for the subs?

Make sure your lic, plate frame is bolted with all 4 ( if your using one? ) and even add the little green felt pads behind the plate wll help, sometimes thats whats rattles the most, cracks me up hearing frames rattling and the dudes think its cool when it actually sounds like sh!t

it makes a huge difference because it prevents the panels from rattling against the body of the car (on the rear deck, for example) and when you do the trunk it will keep all the sound inside the car thus reducing any potential rattles on the exterior of the car. i don't think the license plate would rattle as much since it isn't directly attached to the trunk lid itself. i put dynamat on my daily driver years ago and the system sounds even louder than without the dynamat and you hardly hear any of it outside the car. dynamat is actually the next mod on my list for all those reasons.

I just installed one 12" sub in the side mount sub thump box last week and have already started the interior starting to rattle/viberate now! Mainy I notice the driver's side door panel rattling/vibrating against the door... I'm real tempted to dynomat behind the door panels, but I don't know if it will help? Please let us know if your dynomat in the trunk really helps because I'm leaning towards that also.

My license is bolted down its not the issue its just the trunk or the back speakers. You guys recommend disconnecting my rear speakers?

put dynamat across the rear deck. it's not the speakers themselves rattling, it's the panel that covers them rattling up against the rear deck itself.

Same here. No extra amps, subs, or anything. This factory system rattles the rear deck and makes it sound like crap. I'm definitely gonna address it in the near future. Plus, I dot the PDIM crackling going on.

Where is your rattle coming from? If its the rear deck then I doubt it has been caused by your new subs.

Agreed, it is really embarrassing, and it keeps me from turning up the bass on a system that's not all that bassy to begin with.

Yes, this is true. I dynamatted my whole rear deck and trunk. No more rattles and the bass is loud and tight! (I have 1 12" in the ******** box).

Well worth the time it took...
