I just got notice from my dealer that my TPW was pushed from 10/30 to 11/13. They are a very large volume dealer that sells a lot of Camaros and they got no ZLE allocations either.

Here's my story, with a happy ending. I'll try to keep i short.....



Started my journey in December 2021 ordering 1LE. GM In March 2022, GM asked me to drop the PDR. I said no and waited. GM did it again in April. I ended up cancelling the order due to unexpected financial issue.


Reordered again Sep 2022. Order was not accepted until Spring 2023, but by then GM had announced end of ICE Camaros, so I cancelled that one, opting for a '24.


Order placed June 19(?) 2023 for 2SS 1LE loaded up with just about everything, including PDR, except sunroof and stupid little stuff. I was hoping for a good new '24 color, but blue is everywhere and the yellow looks a bit dull in person. So I stayed with Vivid Orange.


GM accepted last week of August with Oct 9 build week.
October 9 came and went. Dealer said no update, so expected the strike was affecting it.


Today, Oct 19, dealer said he checked my order this morning and it showed delayed. Then magically in the afternoon, it showed as being delivered tomorrow.



Been almost 2 years, but I'm finally getting the car I wanted.

Congratulations, your patience is quite respectable. The 2SS 1LE is a great choice, and the color will be remarkable, too. Hope the delivery experience will be smooth, too

This was the reply, Your order has been submitted by your dealer but has not officially been accepted by GM at this time.
