When should you change the fluid? Is it all same for stick or auto? on the tranny.

Hey guys, the owners manual states using
"Manual transmission fluid".
I have not seen this and been looking for it.
I found on Summit Racings site -
AC Delco manual trans fluid and synthetic manual trans fluid.
What are you using???
I have a feeling it is more like gear oil than fluid because it is not really circulating through the system like an auto does.

Very easy, let gravity do the work.
What O.D. tubing fits?
Thanks

I apologize if this is thread jacking ( certainly don't mean to)
but I thought this was a legitimate question.
Am I invisible?

I dont believe it uses manual trans fluid. I am getting ready to do mine but i think if I remember correctly it uses the same as auto trans would use. Check your manual. It has the spec in it.

Thank you, That is what I have been trying to say.
Summit Racing has it as well as a Delco Synthetic version
but I got the feeling most guys are just using some ATF

Redline D4 ATF has been very good to a lot of guys - it definitely helped a little with notchiness in my gearbox.

Another reason to remove the fill plug first - if you have some strange weird problem getting that out - better to find out before you've got the gearbox empty.
