Exactly! Let's compare a sports car with low profile run flat tires to an SUV that drives like a couch with 4 wheels. One generation difference of MRC isn't going to create a miracle ride. Your driving in NYC--potholes, choppy roads, broken pavement, tar crack repair everywhere, etc. There is no MRC on my SS, but I have it on my '16 Tahoe and I've had it on past vehicles.

I can tell a difference between all 3 modes. Tour mode is nice.

My wife and I both say our Camaro rides better than our Lincoln SUV. The Lincoln has 20" wheels and lower profile tires and that is the reason it does not ride as well as the Lincoln's with 18" wheels. Very pleased with how the Camaro rides and handles.

I too can not tell a difference between modes. Curious....those that can tell a difference, do you have run-flats? Perhaps that's the key here?

Tyres can make a significant difference. My ST had Egle F1s (non runflats) too, when I changed to PSS it was more comfortable and handled better too, but it's so pricey..

I have run flats and I cannot tell the difference. My dad says he can absolutely tell the difference when he drives it. IMO all three modes feel a bit soft.

It would be interesting if someone had experience with both MRC and non-MRC to compare.

My Vert with the Run-Flats has a lot of Difference between Tour- Sport-Track!!! I live in Maine and the roads SUCK here as well. I find that Track Mode is VERY,VERY Tight, Sport is OK most of the time, although still to Firm for My old body, Tour is very Sporty with a VERY NICE Ride. If you are Not feeling these changes, SOMETHING is WRONG!!! I agree that the GY Run-Flats will give a Harsh ride, Tires will be the LARGEST issue with a SHITTTY RIDE!!!! Try running them at 30-32 LBS. That MAY help???

This thread makes me feel better about not getting MRC.
Only wanted it for a softer ride over rough roads. Just couldn't find a 2016 near me with MRC and the right color/options. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

My car spends most of the time in sport mode. Unless I'm on the highway or a long cruise I'll put it in tour set the cruise and relax. I can certainly feel the difference in each mode. But I've said it before and other have as well.... I'm not a fan of these Goodyear tires. Once these wear out I'm going with Michelin PSS. I have them on my other car, and its the best tire I've ever used. Night and day difference between ride comfort, handling etc etc.

Don't mistake a noisy ride for a bad ride. I find that you can hear the bumps but the body motions and wheel travel are controlled really well. In my opinion MRC is worth every penny. I'm running non run flat winter tires in the stock size and it's not a noticeable difference from the stock tires. There's been a couple times where I hit some bad looking bumps and even a speed bump that I didn't see and the car handled it like a champ. And like other people mentioned, no matter if the camaro has MRC or not you can't expect it to ride better than a Escalade. The MRC does what it's supposed to do, which is keep the car extremely composed and still have a comfortable livable ride, but it's still a sports car that can pull almost 1 G on the skid pad.
