Everything I've seen and heard has said the Recaros will be an option on the ZL1 and SS models and will be STANDARD on the Z/28.

This is the first I'm hearing of a possible delay on recaros for the ZL1s. But it makes sense, the bulk of the first orders will be for the Z/28s and the rest will come later. Either way it gives me time to save.

The early production 2014s will not have the Recaros. The late production models will.

Last ordering guide info I saw did not mention any "late availability" on the Recaros as an option. GM should have more info on these.

Yeah it was in a thread regarding why the Recaro's aren't on the build sheet. I believe BeckyD mentioned the reason being is because they are not available for the early models but will be available in the late production models. Similiar to the mylink with NAV option that wasn't released at the beginning of the 2013 models. The thread is around, I just can't find it. Hope that helps...

yeah there will be a ZL1 in 2014. No it is not the same as Z/28. I like the ZL1 way better than the SS in every way but go test drive one foryourself.

the 2014 ZL1 will have the same front facia, hood and insert as the 2013 but will have an updated rear facia for 2014.

color hud, color information centerk, recaro seats optional are the main upgrades to the car I think.

It is a bit early to have all the details.

If the Recaro's are anything like in the CTS-V...they will be pretty uncomfortable for a lot of people in every day use.
