I could very well see a LT1 in my future. Just hope they do keep the weight down.

Not really surprised here other than the I-4. I'll be impressed if it's MPG's is worth it.

I think a turbo I4 and a V6 are redundant. I'd go one or the other. That's going to add cost to ALL models because now the chassis has to be designed to accommodate four options. We ALL pay for extra options.

Would have liked to see the twin turbo 6 from the Cadillac lineup on that list instead of the 4 banger.

The 4cyl is good to the extent that it will force the design to be light enough. It works fine in the ATS by all accounts I have read.

Very much agree. Don't understand why an I4 is being put in a pony/muscle car but guess there needs to be competition with Ford and raise CAFE mpg fleet standards for Chevy.

New gen needs to shed some serious weight or that has to be one powerful 4 cyl and turbo to get the Camaro up and moving respectively.

How to hug your camaro
Buy the car that you would most like to get beat in. The other guy will always be faster.

The chasis they are using already exists (Alpha) and already accepts those engines. No added cost that hasn't already been spent.

Its using Alpha and the car is apparantly shrinking. Tell us how it won't be lighter?

May not be super light, but expect it to be right with or better than the 2015 Mustang.
