quick spark plug question

How many spark plugs are in my V6 camaro?

I wasn't sure if it was 6 or....?

Um, surely you mean 24 if there was one per valve. DOHC/4 valves per cylinder (2 intake and 2 exhaust)/6 cylinders total = 24. But alas there are only 6 spark plugs total. One per cylinder.

Yep. 24 valves for the V6. 16 for the V8. One plug per cylinder.

There are some motors with 2 spark plugs per cylinder. I have worked on a few Fords and Nissans with that setup. But sorry we Camaro drivers are spark plugged Deprived only one per cylinder lol.

Yes,

Why is it such a crazy thing to ask for help on these forums...?

I used to have a 96 ranger that had 2 spark plugs per cylinder... 4 cylinders = 8 spark plugs.

So the question in my mind, made sense to ask rather then buying 12 spark plugs and assuming I knew what was in the car.
