Having going from a v6 to a v8, I'll suggest ditch the 6 and get the 8! I actually got better gas mileage in the 8 and the insurance for me didn't go up that much

Can't ever see buying a sports car and getting the slow version. Everytime I tell someone I have a Camaro, the first thing they ask is "is it a SS" and does it have leather? Kinda like getting a Mopar and not getting the Hemi...

I don't often drive fast in my DD SS. I do however love the sound of my car everytime I accelerate. That's what got me into my SS. If I bought a V6 I wouldn't be nearly as happy as I am every day I drive my car. Just my personal opinion.

Buy what you can afford, just don't get in over your head(unless you keep getting good tip$ )..If you're truly bored, just rent an SS for the weekend(M6)
..another option would be FI |

How about some 32s. I hear a lot of dealers go for that.
