5.0 headers

Does the 5.0 mustang come stock with headers,,,,, if not what is it,,, and how do you think it enhances it's performance if any ?

It looks headers,,,,,,, I was wondering what they were called,,,,,does not look like stock manifolds

If memory serves, the 5.0 comes with shorty headers. I could be wrong, however.

I think he's referring to whether the 5.0 Mustang comes with cast-iron manifolds or headers. OP, am I correct?

It comes with shorty stainless steel headers. I replaced mine with BBK shorties and picked up a good bit.

So in the sense of traditional headers such as long tubes no. Think more along the lines of light-weight cast iron manifolds.

The gains by replacing with long tubes or aftermarket shorties is similar to the LS3 vs. the stock cast iron manifolds.
