Im not seeing it. I see LS3 in one place, 6.2 liter in another, an V8 at the bottom.

look under the picture, where it lists stats shows engine as 3.6 liter V6 and I would love to see 2 adults fit comfortably in the back seat, my 5 and 7 year old have a bad enough time as it is.

Look at the specs right at the beginning of the article. They show the specs of a base 1LS instead of an SS 1LE.

The specs under the picture are just standard base Camaro specs.
Similar to what most car dealers do with they post "file" photos in their car ads.
The actual story was correct.

Your right though, most real car enthusiasts hate when they do this.
