San Diego

Hi all...I just wanted to drop in here. I just wanted to find out where you all service your camaro in San Diego. The last few vehicles I've had were from toyota so I have a good idea where to take these cars for maintenance. But for a camaro...Im totally lost. I've always love the camaros and corvettes. I'm in love with the 2015 1LE camaro and this is uncharted territory for me.

Thanks all

jay

I bought my truck at Jimmie Johnson a few years back. Had to take it in for a recall and had a good experience there. I was in and out in about 45 minutes. Unfortunately, I'm in north county so did most of my other service (oil changes) at Weseloh. An oil change there was usually a 2 hour wait and no walk-ins. I finally gave up and started doing the oil changes myself.

Jimmie Johnson FTW

Bought my wife's Traverse from Jimmie Johnsons, we had an ok experience but not the greatest, and I hate the service department. I didn't have a good experience with them when I tried ordering my 1LE from them when I was deployed to Afghanistan. They refused to help my wife or even get back to her. We ended up ordering from Quality Chevrolet in Escondido, talk to Lori. She is awesome and helped us out. She even kept in contact with me to give me updates while I was deployed. There service department is awesome too. I used to work for GM at a Chevy dealer as a tech, so I know how dealers and service departments should be ran. Hopefully this makes your decision easy.

I've also had great customer service at Quality Chevy. Weseloh is terrible.

Make sure you talk to Lori, she's one of the sale women, and she is awesome.

Any independent shops out there for the camaro or is the dealership pretty safe bet? I'll look up Lori too. Hope to check out Quality today.

I have the service contract, so I've been taking her to the dealership. As far as mods go; I do everything myself being that I was a tech. Once she's out of warranty I'll be doing my own work. I really don't trust independent shops, so I haven't looked into them.
