It wasnt a negative opinion on American cars, more of a joke that they arent as good as over seas. I love American cars, more than Euro and Japanese, dont get me wrong. Maybe I should have made the joke more clear lol.

I bought a low mileage 2011 SS (wanted the synergy green) so I had to go with the 11, but coming up on my first year anniversary not one problem, car is like a rock and is my daily driver..

These LS engines were built to last. I'd try and jump on a nice 11-12 with less than 25k miles and under $22k.
They're out there. There's a 2011 fully loaded SS with less than 15k miles in my area for sale going for $21k. So you just have to be patient and shop. Trust us, there were over 500,000 of these cars made since 09. You'll find the perfect one for you at the perfect price, you just have to be patient |

Mileage comes more into play than age of vehicle, unless it's stored underwater or on the beach. I bought my 11 just over a year ago. I love it, but I wished I had known about the suspension updates made in later years, I would have searched for a 13 1LE. It has the correct tail lights (don't lynch me, it was a joke) and better suspension.

The average '11 Camaro near me is about $25,000 CAD, with arounf 30k to 40k kms. With all your guys' help assuring me itll be fine then I will pull the trigger. As long as the car is good and i can afford payments lol. |

2011 isn't old. Old is 15+ years with today's technology and manufacturing processes.
Biggest thing you should worry about is being able to maintain it properly. Premium fuel isn't bad on cost versus regular but the brakes, oil (eight quarts of syn), and tires are a bit more expensive on these than other makes and models. Solid car and will last a long time if you take care of it.

I just did new brake pads last September but only pads didn't even need to turn the rotors as they were still like new. And I think blackjack before me meant 8 quarts of synthetic oil instead of 6.... |

I purchased a 2010 Camaro SS (LS3) with approximately 52,000 miles last July. The vehicle is my daily driver and now has approximately 66,000 miles. During that time, I have had zero issues with the vehicle. As you likely won't know the service history of the vehicle you purchase, I would recommend---at a minimum---having the coolant system serviced immediately.
