So this happened last night

Eating at Zoe's Kitchen with the wife last night, a guy approaches our table and says "Do you have the blue Camaro?"

Oh crap, I thought. He led me outside to my car where his white car had somehow managed to do this... He said it happened when his kid opened their door and hit the Camaro. Must have been the side mirror.

In the pic below, try to ignore the reflection of the white car - this wasn't the car that hit mine. Took this pic in a parking garage this morning.

*Big Sigh*

Hey at least the guy manned up and told you and didn't take off. Is he going to help take care of it?

Agree, many, if not most people these days would have simply driven off. Good to know there are still people in this world who have integrity, take responsibility and are teaching their kids to do the same. Hopefully, the guy is having his insurance cover the damages.

Good to see that there are still honorable people in the world. Hope they can fix you up just like new.

It'll be alright. Your car will be restored much like my faith in honorable people after reading your post.

Kudos for the father taking responsibility and showing his kid the right way to handle things.

My sisters car was damaged back in April while dining at a restaurant. Guy came in and asked the restaurant to page " the owner of... license plate". My sister and brother-in-law went up and they walked outside to see the damage (wind blew his door open and into it). Guy gave his contact info / insurance and she fixed the car. 3 weeks ago she mailed him a $50 gift certificate to the same restaurant with a thank you card for being honest.
