Engine cover lettering
I noticed that the red lettering has started to wrinkle as if it is coming off. Has anyone else had this issue?

Yes. I’ve noticed mine had started coming off as of recently. Along with fire blanket starting to come down in one side and get brittle.

The red is flaking off on mine. A couple months ago I found another used set for sale in perfect condition but just last week I noticed them flaking off too. I’m going to take them to hydrodipper next week to see what they might be able to do...

Is it paint or a decal? I figure if it is a decal I can wait little while longer for it to degrade more and then just peel them off.

I wonder if it was taped off and re-sprayed with some High Temp Red if it would stay better.
