Had to extend it by a decent amount if I remember right. I adjusted it almost all the way down and then needed to move it back up a little because the hood didn’t shut tight enough.

Pics aren’t the best but you can see the fiberglass inside the scoop and heat extractors is black. Shouldn’t be an issue I don’t think.

Since the hood is painted white already, will it match my car (summit white camaro)?

I wouldn’t use it for any more than a base coat. Lots of little areas where the black shows through.

Mine didn’t have black showing through at all, but I don’t think that’s paint anyways, I think that’s the gel coat. I could be wrong though, maybe it’s a primer.

It’s a splitter extension from 6LE designs bolted under the stock 1LE splitter.

Dam i wanted to order that but was worried about being ripped off. Best looking splitter for the 6th gen imo. When did you buy it? Did you have issues with your order? How long did it take to receive it?

I ordered last September and it took about 6 weeks to receive. Great quality with no issues. This was before all of the current problems people are having with them really began. I would not order from them again though after reading here about what is happening.

I may swap out to a ZL1 style hood soon - if I do then this one will be available
