Update!
Just got a deal finalized for a V6 1LE! So pumped!  While I was looking for regular V6's, I stumbled across a 2017 Summit White 1LE demo that I snagged for $30,043 (CDN! so ~$24k USD) out the door before sales tax. Considering the cheapest I could find for regular V6's was around $32-33k (and a used 2016 was $29k), I feel like I got a sweet deal. Can't wait to pick it up next week! |

The only other cars Id look into for your purposes would be the upcoming 2019 Mazda MX5 (if youre willing to compromise on the convertible thing) or the Toyota/Subaru 86/BRZ. Both are good on handling like the Camaro but not as good in a straight line. The MX5 is getting a 30ish hp bump for next year too.
The V6 1LE sounds good for your purposes too though. |
