Here's something to ponder. The upcoming Omega based CT6 is 8" longer and 53 pound lighter than the CTS. The CT6 and Camaro were developed concurrently. I wouldn't be surprised if Camaro has some of the CT6's mass control techniques, above and beyond what was used in the ATS and CTS.

The 8spd is close in weight to the A6.
Regardless, that 8spd auto is pathetic and has terrible lag when manually shifting compared to PDK. GM blatantly lied about the A8 competing with PDK. GM performance cars deserve a proper DCT, or at least the 7spd manual. My 2016 Camaro will have the stickshift. |
