Who else has a bankruptcy Camaro?

My 2SS was born on 6-30-09 and I took delivery 7-7-09 which makes it a GM bankruptcy car! Who else has a bankruptcy car? I know the procedings started on 6-1-09 but I'm not sure when GM came out, mid July I think. Can someone verify the dates? Also, I was wondering how many Camaros were produced during the bankruptcy. This was a very historic event being that the largest auto maker had to file for bankruptcy and came out of it so quickly! I guess that makes my car historic too! Any GM folks out there able to give input would be appreciated!

I do! One of the last cars ever built under the 100 year old company. I think the last one's built have VINs in the 15k range.

That would make yours an Old GM car. What I'm looking for are cars built and delivered during the bankruptcy period 6/1/09 to 7/10/09. Not sure if this would make mine an Old GM, new GM or something in-between!

Ah okay, I see. I have a few old camaros and at the time, it was important for me to have the 5th gen built under the same company as all my other babies.

Too bad my future Z won't be built under the same company. :(

I think it's a GOOD thing! Just think of the historic value of a car produced and delivered during this period! How often does a HUGE company go though a bankruptcy and come out 6 weeks later? GM survived for 100 years till June 1, 2009 and continued to produce good quality cars like mine during a most difficult time. I have very little issues with my Camaro and I think that the workers at GM were fighting for thier survival during this period and putting out some good quality cars! Any Oshawa workers out there to chime in?

Another one!

R6P on 10/14/08--born on 6/11/09--delivered on 6/30/09. We are so Lucky to have this car! Dealer went out of business this yr. They had to cancel all of their other customer pre-orders. Our Camaro - named "HYPERION" by Fbodfather --was the only one pulled for production.

Mine was built prior to bankruptcy; 5-28-2009 and delivered after bankruptcy 6-5-2009, R6P, possibly 1 of 1 per spasticsquarrel database

No company got the sweet bankruptcy deal that GM got.

And iirc, GM is the biggest company in history to go bankrupt. I could be wrong on that though.
