Beat those kids. Touch my shit and pay the consequences. Material property blah blah blah. We are all proud of our cars and wouldn't be here (on C5) otherwise. They permanently reduced the value of the vehicle, it will take dozens and dozens of hours of the OP's time sorting out this mess, and now he has a repaired car that used to be factory original.

Not that I don't agree with you, but based on most of the comments I see posted here (on C5), the Camaro already has "inferior" paint. So that will likely be one of the improvements. Good time to make a color change (if you are so inclined) as the whole car is getting painted anyway.
