so i received my other tax return today

, and with both of them added up its about $557, so i called my friend who installed my air intake b/c he has alot of connections in the automotive industry i guess you could say, and i talked to him about getting my rims powdercoated.he's been bugging me for some fishing numbers where good spots are to catch alot offshore b/c im a big fisher man and my dads even more of one! so he said he can hook me up with a deal of a lifetime, i give him a couple numbers and he said he can get my rims powdercoated for only $200!!!!!

so i had to do it! ill be dropping them off on monday and wil be stuck with his litte brothers and my friends rims. but they are 22" ghetto rims lol but i cant wait to see the finished product!

im curious what did YOU guys pay to get your rims powder coated?

I had all 4 of mine done for 20 bucks lol. Gotta love connections.

I paid $200 as well on my Corvette.... you got an OK deal... Sorry. PC is cheap and easy.

i've been thinking about it. I went to the dealership where i bought my car while getting oil changed and they powdercoated some in black. They put it on a yellow camaro and the lip of the rim was painted yellow to match looked effin sweet!

true true, but around here all the shops wanted $150 a rim, theirs no way im paying $600 to get my rims PC lol

for power coating a good price is 50 a rim. so 200 is a fair price for power coating the rims. its not a deal of a lifetime. it would be a deal of a life time. if the guy takes your tires off and puts them back on with a alignment. for a total price of 200

mine will be about 15 bucks and about 4 hours of spraying.

I'm Paying 480 its at the shop now... but they took off my tires powdercoated and sent me pics through the whole process... and I thought I was getting a good deal lol

Cant wait to see them
